Urban Orchard Cider Company is a small, family-owned and operated craft cidery based in Asheville, North Carolina. Founded in 2013, the company began as a home-based hobby inspired by a desire for more authentic, handcrafted ciders. Frustrated with the overly sweet, mass-produced options available at the time, Josie’s passion led her to England, where she studied traditional cider-making techniques before opening one of the first dedicated cider bars in the United States.

Vala’s Orchard Cider Co. is a testament to an age-old tradition. Our cider is crafted from the fruit of our own apple trees, grown and pressed right here in Gretna, Nebraska. With over 40 acres of apples and 45 varieties, including heirloom cider apples, we take pride in our “farm to bottle” approach. We believe in making cider the hard way, using wholesome, real apples from our backyard.
Vander Mill, started in 2006, is a small, family-owned cidery and taproom located in Grand Rapids, MI. All of the apples we use are pressed right here, in-house, and come from local Michigan orchards.
We are a craft cider production and tasting room. We offer fantastic hard ciders with our ingredients locally sourced. We also have a cider based craft cocktail list as well as hard cider and N/A cider slushies.
While we are relatively new to making cider, we have been studying and fermenting beverages for the better part of a decade. Understanding how to create a drink that is approachable, complex and refreshing is no easy task. But our team has done an outstanding job sourcing the highest quality apples and juice this country has to offer.
WESTERN CIDER is located on the banks of the Clark Fork River in Missoula, Montana. Our dream was seeded in 2012 when co-founder Michael Billingsley planted 2,500 cider apple trees in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley. Now, we have nearly 5,000 trees and over 50 varieties of apples.
Borrowing from European cider traditions, Westwind Orchard is fully immersed in making some of the most distinctive ciders in the US. While our oldest trees are standard varieties like McIntosh and Stayman, we’ve been planting new orchards of hard cider varieties and grafting our heirloom dessert apple trees with bittersweet and bittersharp varieties.
