Bird Dog is a family operation started by two brothers with a love for apples and a lot of help from good friends.  We grew up on a farm in the heart of Western New York State apple country, which our dad still operates. He has 130 acres of the best eating apples and classic cider varieties like Kingston Black, Dabinett, Porter’s Perfection, Yarlington Mill, and Golden Russet. Currently our ciders are made from apples that come from there.

Hermit Woods Winery is also a boutique cidery, crafting small-batch, artisanal hard ciders from local apples and heirloom varieties, each fermented with care and creative flair.
