Celebrating 30 Years in Sonoma County, CA. ACE was founded by British entrepreneur Jeffrey House after the opulent apple orchards of western Sonoma County combined with his familiarity with the hard ciders of the UK inspired him to open the California Cider Company / ACE Cidery in 1993.

Our unique hard ciders are hand-crafted in North Park, San Diego, and blended with the adventure and spirit of the West Coast. Our cider is made with premium ingredients that deliver the freshness of the outdoors right to your taste buds. Mount Diablo Cider Company is a local family owned and operated microcidery, specializing in premium small batch heirloom ciders made in the traditional method.

The name Serpentine comes from the fact that the two founders, Sean and Lish, are wildlife biologists. One day while surveying for desert tortoises in the Mojave desert and contemplating names for the cidery, Sean stepped on a baby sidewinder. That sealed the name Serpentine Cider! Our cider is made from fresh-pressed apple juice, currently sourced from the Northwest. We use herbs, spices and real fruit to make our different ciders. We will never use artificial ingredients, concentrates, or extracts.

Sincere Cider is a true expression of the crisp, clean flavors of contemporary cidercraft. Made in California with a special blend of culinary apples and French wine yeast, Sincere Cider is fermented until dry, then back-sweetened with just a touch of fresh-pressed apple juice.
